In general the Private Universities are more expensive than the Public Universities.
In the Public Universities the Central Universities have fairly lower tuition as compared to the State University, University College and Government College.
The tuition also varies by course, for example Medicine, Engineering, Pharmacy & Architecture are more expensive than Social Sciences, Arts and Commerce. The fees range from Rs.50,000- Rs.200,000 in Private Universities and Rs.20,000 – Rs.50,000 in Public Universities.
