Certificate evaluation

The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) is the nodal agency for granting academic equivalence to the degrees awarded by foreign universites.
In order to get the official recognition of foreign degrees or diploma's one must approach the Evaluation Division of the AIU.
The Evaluation Division provides expert assistance on the status of foreign qualification to the students and universities. They issue and Equivalence Certificates to the students with foreign qualifications to facilitate admissoin in Indian Universities.
To apply for this certificate you must provide the following documents:
- Degree/Certificate together with a year by year Academic Transcript duly authenticated by the Indian Embassy in the country or its concerned Foreign Mission in India.
- Accreditation status of the University/ Institute which, the student has last attended.
- Copies of the academic certificates from Higher Secondary onwards (where necessary).
