The Nuffic Neso programme in India was launched in September 2008 with the opening of the Nuffic Neso Desk in India by the Nuffic Communications Director, Mrs Hanneke Teekens, at the Netherlands Business Support Office (NBSO) in Ahmedabad.
A second Nuffic Neso Desk has also been implemented now at the NBSO in Chennai. Nuffic Neso Desk Chennai started its work in March 2009.
The key tasks of the Nuffic Neso Desks will be to promote Dutch higher education in general, strengthen the cooperation between Dutch and Indian institutions and develop alumni relations.
