Shaastra 2010
Aug 23, 2010Shaastra is the annual technical festival of Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM). It has so far seen ten editions, having started in its current avatar in the year 2000. Shaastra attracts participation from all over India, and seeks to provide college students with a platform to showcase their scientific and engineering talents.

Shaastra has the distinction of being the first student-organized event in the world, to be ISO 9001:2000 certified, for its impeccable planning, innovation and execution. The competitions at Shaastra boast of having the highest number of outstation participants, for any festival of its kind in India, from India as well as abroad. Over the years, Shaastra has recieved accolades and appreciation from industry, acedemia and media alike.
Neso Desk India is the Knowledge Partner sponsor for Shaastra 2010. There will be direct counselling sessions for students at the 'Study in Holland' booth in the campus, and a presentation on 'Opportunities for Higher Education in The Netherlands'.
