Education Fair Ahmedabad

Event:

The Times Education Boutique 2009 took place in various major cities in India in the month of April and May. This education fair was conducted on 11-12 April 2009 at the Rajpat Club, Ahmedabad. There was a good turn out of 5000 visitors. Majority of the visitors were undergraduate students.

The Education Boutique is geared towards empowering students with global knowledge. The Netherlands stall was the hot favourite among the students who visited the fair. Holland being the newcomer on the block for international higher education there was a lot of curiosity in the minds of the visitors.

Student’s questions varied: What are the most popular fields Holland has to offer? Are there any programmes in English? How many Indians study there? What scholarships are available? Are the degrees recognized worldwide? What are the job opportunities after graduation?

There was also a lot of inquisitiveness about the country in general. Where is it located in Europe? How cold does it get? Is it Holland or the Netherlands? Are the Dutch people approachable?

All in all there were many visitors who left with a improved image of the country and what it has to offer.
