Nuffic Neso Desk opens in Ahmedabad

As part of the Neso programme, Nuffic is currently expanding its network of Netherlands Education Support Offices (Nesos). Recently a so - called Nuffic Neso Desk - which basically has the same purpose as a Nuffic Neso - opened in Ahmedabad, India.
What is a Nuffic Neso?
In 2001, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science assigned Nuffic the task to set up Netherlands Education Support Offices (Nesos) in a few selected countries. The aim of the Neso network is the strengthening of institutional cooperation and the recruiting of students.
There area Nuffic Neso offices in Brazil (Brasilia), China (Beijing), Indonesia (Jakarta and Surabaya), India (Ahmedabad), Mexico (Mexico City), Russia (Moscow), Thailand (Bangkok), South Korea (Seoul), Taiwan (Taipei) and Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City).
Nuffic Neso Desk India
The first of a series of new Nuffic Neso offices was launched yesterday, with the opening of a Nuffic Neso Desk in India at the Netherlands Business Support Office (NBSO) in Ahmedabad.
The key tasks of the Nuffic Neso Desk will be to promote Dutch higher education in general, strengthen the cooperation between Dutch and Indian institutions and develop alumni relations.
