The Graduate School of Medical Sciences (GSMS) trains and educates excellent researchers and promotes excellent research. The GSMS is responsible for all Research Master and PhD education and training programmes within the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG).

Total number of scholarships: depends on the number of qualified applicants

 

The scholarship covers 100% of the tuition fee

We will offer 2 types of scholarships: 

1: tuition fee scholarship which means that the full tuition fee for two study years will be paid.

2: tuition fee scholarship which means that the full tuition fee for two study years will be paid. In addition, students will receive expenses for living costs for about € 400 in total per month, for in total 24 months.

Eligible programmes:

  1. Medical and Pharmaceutical Drug Innovation (which will be changed in the coming months to Molecular Medicine and Innovative Treatment)
  2. Clinical and Psychosocial Epidemiology
  3. Clinical and Psychosocial Epidemiology – track Health Systems and Prevention
Duration of the scholarship Entire duration of the studies (24 months)

  • TOEFL iBT (Min. score: 92), IELTS (Min. score: 6.5)

Application deadline is 1 March 2020.

Skype interviews may be part of the admission process.
