"I am a mid-career development professional. In 2009-2010 I chose to attend Masters in Development Studies at the Erasmus Institute of Social Studies in the Netherlands. I am glad at taking that decision since the program was conducted by the best teaching staff, truly international in character; backed by high quality facilities and rich collection of academic material making it a great academic experience. To add, the beautiful small country that Holland is, just makes the stay more enjoyable. I felt so welcomed. It was an unmatched experience to study with a group of 200 students from over 50 countries!

In my case it was by chance that I chose to study in Holland over other countries. I always wished that I knew someone who could share their experience and answer the numerous questions crossing my mind at that time. Later I learnt about the country level alumni networks organised by Nuffic. It is indeed a great initiative and only shows how much the agencies care for the international students and do their best possible to make the transition smooth and ensure that students make the most out of their stay in Holland. I am happy to be a part of this alumni network since I can share my experience and help clarify the doubts that potential students may have. I would encourage more and more people to explore study options in Holland and join our ever expanding family...the degree is just a bonus!"
